Privacy policy

Effective 30 September 2026.

Evertone collects no data. The app has no accounts, ads or analytics, contains no third-party libraries and never connects to the internet. Nothing you do in the app reaches the developer or anyone else.

What stays on your watch

To remember your choices, the app saves a few settings on the watch:

• the instrument and volume you picked,
• whether the Whisper explanation has been shown,
• on watches without the double tap gesture: how you raise your hand to your ear, a few numbers describing how the watch sits at your ear.

These settings live only in the watch’s storage and are removed when you delete the app. The app never sends them anywhere.

Motion sensors

On watches without the double tap gesture, Whisper uses the motion sensors to tell when the watch is at your ear. Readings are analysed on the watch as they come in, only while a note is waiting to play or calibration is running. They are neither stored nor sent anywhere.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no external fonts or scripts. Your browser keeps only the theme and language you pick. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, whose servers, like any web server, may technically log your IP address and the time of your visit.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
